A sad happy day
Yesterday was a rough day. Yesterday we cut our bassplayer from 5 seconds of hatred. It's sad in the sence that him and I have been friends for about 7 or 8 years. It needed to be done because other bandmembers felt restrained musically by him. I did not want the whole band to split up so I felt that I had to include myself in their decission. We broke the news to him at his doorstep, very gently, explaining to him why this course of action has to be taken. He understood the reasons why and took the news humbely (how do you spell that? humbly? humbley? whatever!). After all was said we drove off and collected his equipment from our rehersal studio and carried it up to his appartment. Then we said our goodbyes. I hope that our friendship can stand this ordeal, but I know that he is hurting. I know that he was just as ambitious about the band as the rest of us, we just wen't a direction he was reluctant to follow. I hope he finds a band that does him justice, cause' he's one mean bassplayer!
The rest of us will now look to the future. It's been a sad day but we will stay positive and push ourselves on to achieve our goals.
In other news. The other band in which I play, R.O.R, have recieved the first mix of our first demo. We are satisfied as hell. We feel as we have put our very souls into these two recordings and been rewarded pure awesomeness! We are gonna discuss some minor changes this weekend, and when they have been applied we will create a fresh myspace to reveal them to the world. The demo is also to be sent to, swedish music magasine, Close-Up for a review. We will send it to labels and use it to get gigs. Hopefully it will lead to better things to come.
Everything happens for a reason. Hard choices must sometimes be made, and when you make them you have to find inner strength in order to follow them through, even if it hurts.
Hard work is it's own reward, especially if you get a kickass demo out of it.

One lazy dude
Everybody out there, I'm sorry that I'm too lazy to update my blog! Let's see if I can make a change and be better at it. Because what's the use of having a blog if no one follows it?
Ok! So I guess I should bring everyone up to speed on what I do, and have been doing lately.
I did not apply for another year at Kvarnby Serieskola in Malmö, because I did not feel that I had anything at the time worth working a whole year on. I've been struggling with the plot for a "Tales Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles"-story for a while before deciding to put a hold on that project until after I've finished another project. Said project is a collaberation between me and another comic-artist, Helena Hellman, for an erotic anthology called Swedish Comic Sin 2.
Musically, a lot is happening right now. The thrashmetal band "5 Seconds of Hatred", in which I sing, has six songs on myspace. You can listen to them on http://www.myspace.com/5secondsofhatred. The heavymetal/stoner/funk-rock band R.O.R (Rebels of Reality), in which I play guitar, has just finished recording two songs for a demo. We will publish these songs on myspace as well, look for coming updates.
Otherwise I'm working for a recruitement agency whom are supplying me with work, so that I can earn cash.
I am also going to start my own enterprice, probably gonna call it Joe Napalm Comics as well. The question is when is this going to happen? I don't know, when I get of my lazy butt maybe.
That's all I got for now. Maybe I'll write something more insightful next time. See Ya!

Ja, då bloggar man
Tjenamoss kära läsare!
Jag har nu startat en alldeles egen blogg i syfte om att kunna visa upp mina serier och illustrationer. Dessutom är det ett forum i vilket jag kan uppdatera er läsare om vad jag gör och samt när det händer något av särskilt intresse.
Jag kommer inom loppet av några dagar försöka få upp min senaste serie "Awesome Malfunction".
Mer har jag inte att säga för tillfället förutom
